(Robert Creenan/Huron Daily Tribune) With its school year officially ending on June 15, Ubly Community Schools has emerged from a year marked by the COVID-19 pandemic and hopes for a return to normalcy this coming fall. Superintendent Joseph Candela said the district did have plenty of challenges navigating through the pandemic like other districts in the county. However it was able to allow the senior class to have most of their events for the year, allow athletes to continue playing their sports, and able to keep students in school for the majority of the year.
