Volleyball Announces Six-Game Spring Schedule

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State’s 2023 volleyball spring exhibition schedule has been released, which features a Friday night home doubleheader against UCF and Auburn along with a Saturday afternoon bout with rival Florida. The Seminoles’ fall campaign saw them earn their fifteenth straight 18+ win season, a record maintained under Chris Poole’s entire tenure in Tallahassee. They also registered double-digit wins in conference play and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament The schedule consists of six games, three at home and three on the road. The team will travel to Troy, Alabama, for a single match and to Macon, Georgia, for a three-team series against Georgia and Mercer. Tully Gym will host a three-game series against UCF and Auburn before hosting Florida to close out. Noles Prepare for NCAA Tournament Opener Against Northern Iowa

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State volleyball team (19-10, 11-7) begin its 24th NCAA Tournament on Friday evening in Minneapolis, Minn., when they take on the Northern Iowa Panthers (26-7, 17-1). First serve is set for 5:30 p.m. inside of Maturi Pavilion on the campus of the University of Minnesota. ESPN+ plus will have the coverage with Emma Carpenter (Play-by-Play), Meredith Uram-Nelson (Color) and Connor O’Neal (Sideline) on the call. Right Where We Belong The Florida State volleyball team has been a staple in the NCAA Tournament over the past 15 years. The Seminoles have been in the NCAA Tournament in 12 out of the last 13 seasons. The only season the Seminoles did not make the NCAA Tournament was the COVID spring season in 2021. Noles Head to Miami for Showdown with the Hurricanes

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State volleyball team begins its final week of the regular season with a key matchup with the Miami Hurricanes on Wednesday in Coral Gables, Fla. First serve is set for 3 p.m. and can be seen live on ACC Network Extra. The two teams met on Oct. 5 inside of Tully Gym in an instant classic. The Noles jumped out to a 2-0 match lead, but the Hurricanes took sets three and four to force a fifth set where the Seminoles were victorious. The win snapped a three-game losing streak to the Hurricanes. Scouting the Hurricanes The Miami Hurricanes have been on a tear in the last month as they are winners of 10 out of its last 11 matches. The Hurricanes have only lost two matches since the loss to the Noles on Oct. 5 in Tallahassee. The Hurricanes are led by junior Angela Grieve. Grieve is fourth in the conference with 3.95 kills per set and 403 total kills. The Hurricanes also have the best setter in the conference with Savannah Vach. Vach leads the ACC with 10.36 a
