Cope Wins ACC Title as Several Tigers Show Out on Day 2 of ACC s – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

BLACKSBURG, Va. – On the second day of competition at ACC Championships, Daniel Cope won the ACC Championship in the weight throw with his toss of 22.28 meters. That mark not only brought him the conference crown, it is also a Jamaican national record in the event. Alison D’Alessandro set a school-record of her own in the women’s pole vault, clearing 4.11 meters. That mark is .07 higher than her previous record which was third in Clemson history.  Dashinelle Dyer won the men’s 60 meter prelims with a time of 6.62, moving him up to seventh on Clemson’s all-time list. He will compete in the finals on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. He also advanced to the finals of the 60 meter hurdles with his time of 7.95. CLEMSON, S.C.  The Tigers' penultimate home meet of the 2021-22 campaign saw 20 teams compete at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex. The meet featured several ACC opponents as well as top-25 ranked teams, and was a great barometer for Clemson to gain an understanding of their position as the season marches further towards ACC Championships. Clemson Opener Begins Friday at 10 a m

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Clemson track and field program is set to return to action at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex on Friday, Dec. 3 as the Tigers welcome 16 teams for the Clemson Opener. Action will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, as the men's pole vault, high jump and weight throw begin along with the women's long jump. Track events will begin at 11:40 a.m. with the women's 600m event.
