The killing of two women by a man who then shot himself capped a weekend of gun violence that shook communities from East Idaho to Twin Falls to Ada County.
“I want to be clear: This type of behavior is not a reflection of the values we hold dear as a community and is not tolerated,” Meridian Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea said.
In a strong stance against bigotry and hatred, the Meridian community rallied together as 63-year-old Carlos Alexandre of Meridian faced charges of one.
