Today, students here at Dublin Elementary School will see the custodial staff cleaning, taking steps to control the infection, all tips given to them by the county health department. 35 kids here at this School Stayed home sick yesterday all with noroviruslike symptoms. One case has been confirmed. The district issued a statement to parents asking them to encourage hand washing with their kids. They also updated them on what they are doing to control and stop the spread of the virus, saying that the campus was deep cleaned over the weekend. They utilized more than 19 Staff Members and 150 work hours over the weekend. Work has continued into the week under the guidance of the Alameda County department of health.
