weiner. earlier today authorities arrested a woman in yemen about the packages addressed to the u.s. flights were stopped and searched in newark and philadelphia yesterday. although given the all-clear, security for passengers and cargo in the u.s. has been tightened. yemen s president announced authorities had detained one woman and her male accomplice in connection with the terrorist package bombing attempt. the potential attack was thwarted friday when authorities on three continents seized packages containing explosives on cargo planes in dubai and england. police found this concealed inside a printer bound for the u.s. the toner cartridge contained nearly a pound of the powerful explosive petn, the same chemical used in the attempted christmas day bombing of last year. the packages were shipped from yemen, a known stronghold for al qaeda. we were able to segregate those packages. they are now being analyzed they re still being analyzed and looked at. british auth
