Good morning, chopper six live over the scene in hd. This is i95 right at Bridge Street and you can see this tractortrailer overturned completely flipped over on its side. Weve got a 75gallon fuel spill. You can kind of make it out there on the road and debris all over the roadway because it was carrying trash. As chopper 6 zooms out we can kind of see only one lane getting by in each direction. This is southbound on i95 where it was originally traveling flipped over into the northbound lanes. Look at all the workers they have on the scene with this. Already a heavy duty tow truck here as well. We see the backup and this is the northbound backup. Southbound backup right here
On the tight shot of the tractor trailer and big dumpster or on the traffic right now but either way we are looking at a mess here on i95, worst time of the day and worst stretch of i95. This is the only stretch between two big sections that are undercover trucks. So this is usually the the smooth part, and the widest part of the road and you can see guardrail as we come back tooth ground shot here guardrail has been per versaceized. Apparently around 3 00 the guy driving this truck southbound went over the rumble strips and that woke him up. He fell asleep at the wheel, immediately after this accident, and then the guy tried to get control of this thing and he did not get control. Fortunately be in was going northbound at the time or there would have been a terrible head on crash. But one minute i van was going north bound and only thing that hit that was the sign that this guy knocked down.
