MUMBAI: The vaccination drive for the youngest group of beneficiaries, the 18-45 age bracket, continued for the second day on Sunday, with 2,427 people getting Covishield shots at five centres in the city.
Despite a stockout of the free and highly subsidised vaccines given to the 45-plus age group through a central government programme, the youngsters will get the jabs through the state government’s specially purchased stock of three lakh doses of the Covishield vaccine. “We will continue with the drive for this age group on Tuesday,” additional municipal commissioner Suresh Kakani said.
The city received 20,000 of the state-procured three lakh doses from Serum Institute of India in Pune. With roughly 2,500 doses to be given out every day, the stock should be sufficient for another five to six days in the city, said BMC officials.

there were 11 women highlighted. not one of them was a republican. they were all democrats. yes. why is this? why do they do that? why don t they support women? or all women? they don t support all women. they support women who agree with their agenda. they claim to support all women but that s not really what s going on. you have to agree with the ideology and buy in to be on one side or the other of the treatment. which is sad. and occasionally you will get what they say is balance. read an article and you will see that all of the people who are being extolled are women on the left. and then maybe there is one who is a conservative or on the right. or a republican. that s tokenism. that s not balanced. ainsley: mocking. we just showed you an example of that with sarah huckabee sanders. she had a really hard job. she is a mother. her kids read these headlines. she was serving our country in the white house. yeah, you might not agree with her politics what a phenomenal job and to
problem. maybe you do need to put a hail mary in your strategy to even run. democratic electorate will have a difficult path for a white candidate to get through without addressing that. why stop at vice president? he should start naming his entire alexandria ocasio-cortez, start picking the stars of the democratic party. if a republican did this, we would be accused of tokenism, right? how could you it s interesting that stacy abrams is sort of okay to be used by vice president biden to address his whiteness. maybe it s not that the white guys have a problem but that the democratic party has an advantage that it can tract people from all these different backgrounds and now they re looking to keep everybody invested to move toward a future that every american gets to participate in the future that we re all part of and not the republican party that is dismissing women and focusing on a president that is misogynist
