special counsel, and so i asked a close friend of mine to do it. jim, you re the head of the fbi. you told the president in that memo repeatedly, your memos, that the president wasn t under investigation. you get fired. now you need to put things in the public square to get a special counsel? why? your memo, the first one, was actually sent to the fbi, to mccabe and company, and since there clearly wasn t anything criminal in that memo, then what s with your hogwash about you need to get information into the public square to get a special counsel appointed. jim, it s so obvious. you re fired, and you re mad. you re a liar and you re a leaker. you re pompous. you re egotistical and condescending and violate the very laws you are sworn to uphold because you want to make
today. i still believe andrew mccabe is a good person that the inspector general found he lied and there is severe because once it s in the justice firm and for lying, as there should be throughout the government. comey claimed he was the one who ordered the inspector general investigation which led to mccabe s firing for allegedly leaking unauthorized information to the press and then lying about it multiple times. stick with the mccabe case illustrates what an organization that s committed to the truth l. we investigated, i ordered that investigation. tonight mccabe s attorney firing back by saying either mr. comey nor the office of inspector general is infallible, and in this case, neither of them has it right, adding the report fails to adequately address the evidence including sworn testimony and documents that prove that mr. mccabe advised director comey repeatedly that he was working with the wall street journal . director comey, qaddafi with us. today comey fielded
with line but not comey and mccabe are accusing each other. listen to how the former fbi director describes him on the view. i believe he is a good person but the inspected general found that he lied and there are severe consequences in the justice department for lying as there should be throughout the government. he also claimed he was the one who ordered the inspector general investigation which led to mccabe s firing for linking unauthorized information to the press and lying about it multiple times under oath. the mccabe case illustrates what an organization committed to the truth looks like. i ordered that investigation. mccabe s attorney is firing back by saying either comey or the office of the inspector general is infallible and neither has a right adding the report fails to adequately address the evidence including sworn testimony and documents that prove mccabe advise director comey that he was working with the wall street journal. it is good to have you with
comey pointing fingers at one another in those offices regarding what happened here. i want your perspective on who you think was doing the right thing if any of them were trying to do the right thing in regards to the clinton foundation case and everything that happened leading up to the election. there is an overhang among doj and the fbi that hillary clinton was going to win the election and no one wanted to upset her but what you see in the oig report which is very telling slipped in among the conclusions that mccabe lied. the one other key points is there was a phone call from the department of justice to mccabe that tried to impact or shutdown the independent investigations going on across the country about the clinton foundation.
know, you re talking about 48 hours for a guy who spent two decades of his life serving the fbi. is now going to lose a considerable sum of money as it relates to his pension. we need to see i reserve a little bit of judgment until we see we get briefed on what that report related to mccabe said. because if he did something if he did something that was truly wrong and egregious, okay. but short of that, all these other factors, donald trump, jeff sessions all right, i need to bring it s hard to just take this all forward, owe this makes perfect sense. i want to bring david in. david sitting there patiently. to have you put a bow on all of this. could i read more from the statement, talk about the whole mcauliffe thing, talk about mccabe s wife running for senate. let s talk about this week, the president saying, well, this is just normal, you re going to have staff turnover, nothing to see here, move along. it is a friday night at 10:00.
