Tonight cincinnati zoo officials are fielding fast and furious reactions over their judgment to kill the silverback named harambe as the best choice to save a child trapped in the gorilla enclosure. A viral video captured over the Holiday Weekend shows the scene after a 3yearold boy crawled and climbed into the exhibit ending up facetoface with a massive primate. And now theres even a public call asking for the toddlers parents to be held responsible in the animals death. Blake mccoy has the latest. Reporter tonight outrage over an incident at the cincinnati zoo when a 3yearold boy fell into the gorilla enclosure saturday. For ten agonizing minutes onlookers watched including the boys mother who cried out to him. Reporter at one point the 420pound male silverback named harambe, grabbed the boys ankle and dragged him through the water.

I hit him in the face with it. Cops had one major thing going for them. When kevin had his grand opening last month he made sure he had state of the art security video. It captured this theft from more than a half dozen angles. Deputies were all ready working leads today. Im hoping that the high catches the bad guy. We have been speaking with throughout the day today. Here is what we know right now. We can tell you that yesterday, an officer within the department was relieved of his duty. His badge and his gun taken away and an investigation is currently ongoing into potential criminal activity. Now, the nature of those potential crimes has not been made public. But

Now, organizers tell me this parade takes about a year to get everything together and get everything ready for this parade. Theyre going to have a marching bands in here. Lots of floats. Lots of people walking in the parade. Lots of veterans in the parade going to pour says, and im told there may also be a flyover, although i have not confirmed that yet. Well just have to wait and see what happens now, the theme of this y
