Yes, Kat McManus is fairly new to Loveland, but I have found her to be a quick study and fresh eyes on improving local government. Unlike her opponent, Kat understands the harm metro districts and huge incentives to Big Development can inflict on our community. She would work to see development pay its own way. We need someone who is more concerned about the price tag of an airport terminal than whether it will have a baby changing table. Ward 2 needs the thoughtful and responsive representation on City Council that someone like Kat, with the practicality of a farming background, can deliver.

Letters: Stu Boyd; Loveland Fire Rescue Authority ballot measures

Stu Boyd is seeking a second term on the Thompson School Board. There is no one more qualified than Stu to serve on the board and as president. His accomplishments are numerous. I cannot include all of these due to word limitations. The most significant is that graduation rates have risen and drop-out rates are below 2%. A significant raise in salaries for all employee classifications in 2023-2024 is another.
