welcome back to hardball. today is, of course a day for a lot of democrats across the country waiting for this recall election out in wisconsin where six republican state senators staged recall a defeat. if the democrats can win back three of those seats out of those six they re going to take control of the state senate out there in madison and be in a position to reverse governor scott walker s anti-union agenda. more than a prock all-race. everybody s watching wisconsin, the first fight of the 201 12 election cycle. joining us, an expert and advocate pap guy who care a lot about the working people, et shult ed schultz. is this going down in history books of the labor union? laborers had a hard fight over the last 30, 40 years, high-tech scab organizations and not doing

wants to, to change some of their bargaining rights, as well as balance the budget here. i want you to meet two people very interesting. come here. excuse us, folks. this man, this is a brother and sister team. she s against governor walker, he s for governor walker. ladies first. i want everybody to meet patty. why are you against governor walker and supporting the labor union here? i think he wants to just bust up the union. the teachers union, and he talks about making concessions with them on finances and their benefits and stuff, but he still wants to bust up the unions and i m a strong union supporter. reporter: all right, now give your brother a chance. meet jim. why are you in support of mr. walker and conflict with your sister here? well, i see the state being 3.6 billion dollars in debt. we can t afford it. i can t afford it. i lost my health insurance when i retired from a private
company, they went bank rupt and i lost everything i had and i had to go back to work and think they should do the same thing. reporter: why do you think you have an issue with your brother. the state of wisconsin 3.6 billion dollar budget, they can t afford what they have in place now and needs to make changes. the teachers are talking about making the changes and meeting with the concessions on the financial and benefits and stuff, but it s more about busting up the unions and we can t let our unions go. reporter: jim, what do you say to your sister about that. the union is still going to be intact, they re going to minimize the effect that they have on the budget and the state of wisconsin. the unions going to still be intact and these people are just greedy like they always have been. reporter: all right. jim and patty, appreciate it. i want you to come with me. they ve got two brothers and sisters and they disagree with each other and an example of what s happening in wi
