is insufficient. you would need to have a sworn affidavit proving he declassified. i can assure you that his lawyers will not be providing that to the court. lawyers wi let me get you on e thing. what is the significance of the justice department being allowed to continue to have access to these classified documents while the investigation is ongoing? and allow the investigation to move forward at a deliberate speed. it basically means that whatever this litigation is that donald trump is bringing will not be able to delay the criminal investigation related to these classified documents. the department of justice made a point of segregating the classified materials from the remainder of the documents they retrieved. and so that means this allow for their investigation
them compromised. we have to point out, two of the three judges appointed by don trump himself, meanwhile, the special master in this case, raymond dearie, says the former president needs to backup some of his claims, y all. he needs the receipts. first, they want to see the receipts for the claims that donald trump declassified the documents at mar-a-lago. second, judge dearie is looking for receipts on the claim that the fbi planted evidence during the search at his mar-a-lago home. the trump team has until friday to bring those receipts. if you ask me, i think providing the receipts will prove to be quite difficult. and did i mention that diary was suggested by the trump team to serve as special master? we are not done. in a different case, okay. new york attorney general letitia james, she has a message for donald trump. he is not above the law. earlier this week, she filed a civil suit against donald trump,
that the fbi planted information in his home. that he declassified documents already. i don t think they have made those claims in court yet. so eric, what can we expect on friday? just a backup for a second, simon, the fbi produced what they call a detailed property report. it s a list of items and documents that they took. so that has been produced, that is gonna be given to the trump team. they will have the opportunity to identify any potential discrepancies. as you said, the lawyers have not made those claims yet. so it remains to be seen whether they will. yes, it remains to be seen. why has this even been a debate? it is really, you know, obviously i work at the white house. i went to the department justice. i know bunch of lawyers. we had brushes with the justice department, lawyers from the white house. it just strikes me as though donald trump is making these claims and that everyone is like, oh, well, did he, did you not? it s very clear to take this out yay or nay. why

special master, are taking no baloney from the trump team. they have made it very clear the facts are facts. and i think what is going to happen next is there is going to be a quick turnaround on the special master. no one is going to accept that they can t say whether he declassified anything. but even if he did, the court has made it clear, it doesn t matter. because the crimes he s accused of don t require that they be classified. they have national security information in them. that alone makes it enough. so he can t have his cake and needed to, as the court basically said. he has to come forth with evidence, or it will be soon that they are classified information, and he has no right to them. so the department of justice is not going forward with both a criminal case while the intelligence communities going forward with a risk assessment,
