My name is doctor ellen moffett, i am an assistant medical examiner for the city and county of San Francisco. I perform autopsy, review medical records and write reports. Also integrate other sorts of testing data to determine cause and manner of death. I have been here at this facility since i moved here in november, and previous to that at the old facility. I was worried when we moved here that because this building is so much larger that i wouldnt see people every day. I would miss my personal interactions with the other employees, but that hasnt been the case. This building is very nice. We have lovely autopsy tables and i do get to go upstairs and down stairs several times a day to see everyone else i work with. We have a bond like any other group of employees that work for a specific agency in San Francisco. We work closely on each case to determine the best cause of death, and we also interact with family members of the diseased. That brings us closer together also. I am an inve

The 19th amendment which guarantees and protect womens constitutional right to vote was ratified on august 18, 1920. Hundredth anniversary of this historic milestone is to reflect on incredible efforts to secure womens Voting Rights. It is a reminder of the unfinished work ahead of us to fulfill the promise of our democracy. For decades after the ratification of the 19th amendment, many women of color were prevented from casting ballots through poll taxes, literacy tests, violence, intimidation and racism. Balboa reservoir project. If we look at what the current status quo is swr have a massive parking lot across from a mini mart. Be spent years coming up with a proposed solution that would have over a thousand homes, half of which will affordable and subsidized. If you look at where these people may be currently living some of them may be crouc may cd make a life here. I strongly support this project. Were here with governor larry hogan of maryland to talk about the challenges weve faced as a country, grappling with the covid pandemic and some things that maryland has done to deal with their epidemic of covid spread. This is a time with the Intelligence Committee long warning us of the risk and put it on par with weapons of mass destruction and counterterrorism and cyber attack. As much as we thought we were prepared as a nation, we found going through this episode at that we really didnt have all the preparations that we thought we had. And weve been unable to find as a nation a medium between allowing this virus to spread in a way thats causing a lot of death and suffering, and strict lockdown, something thats acceptable to enough people that we can implement some kind of an approach that enough people find socially and culturally and economically acceptable. So were continuing to see spread around the nation particularly in the south right now. Mar
