The University of Hawaii Maui College Culinary Arts Program is one of very few programs that require some face-to-face instruction that is done with strict adherence to all COVID-19 health and safety protocols, according to a news release.
“We have full cohorts of 10 students each in both our intermediate and batch cookery classes,” said Culinary Arts Program Coordinator and Pastry Chef Teresa Shurilla. “There’s a lot of food … and no one to enjoy it.”
