Lets go live to atlantic city, the temperatures have dropped off. Its 34 in philadelphia. One of the warmer locations. 31 in allentown. 27 in the poconos. Lancaster, 30 degrees. Dover, 32. Millville. 31. Theres not much of a breeze, but when you factor it in, it makes the air temperatures feel like the 20s. If youre going out wear a heavier coat. As we look at the satellite and the radar theres nothing going on in the immediate mid atlantic or the immediate Delaware Valley. You have to go out here 700 miles to the west get into the central great lake states to pick up any moisture. Thats in the form of a cold front that will sneak through overnight. We have new information on the blaze that tore through a home and burling county business. Several Fire Departments and a haz mat team were called into help. The fire was placed under control at 7 47 this morning. Officials say the older woman who lives in the home has been taken to the hospital. She is stable, but will be kept for observations. Fire officials are looking for the cause of the fire. Meanwhile, route 73 is closed in both directions between high street and main street. The search is on for the gunman who shot and wounded a Temple University student at an overnight party. New this morning, were learning that the gunman may have been targeting other people students moment before opening fire. Police say they are looking into the possibility that the gunman from the party is also responsible for robbi
Part of center city on on 16th street near chestnut and people were shocked. Eyewitness News Reporter Todd Quinones is live there with more. Todd . Reporter chris Temple University student fell from an eighth floor window from the building you see right over my shoulder here. And when she landed, she wound up hitting a 44yearold woman who was walking on the sidewalk on 16th street just south of chestnut. The boots of the victim lying the sidewalk were a stark reminder of the tragedy that unfollowed in center city. 18yearold freshman at Temple University fell to her death from an eighth floor window. She may even have been sitting on the ledge about 2foot wide 11 possibly taking some pictures. Reporter its believed the student may have slipped as she was going back inside. The woman was visiting two friends inside an Art Institute of philadelphia dorm room when she fell just before 6 00 thursday night. Both of those male students were being questioned by police.
