Good morning. Were not going to see the wind today. Thats the good news. Despite that were going to see windchills in the 20s this morning. Air temperatures in some spots in the 20s. We are off to a cold start. Heres a live look outside. We dont have the wind in place. Were looking at clear skies. We will see lots of sunshine as we head throughout our saturday. Temperatures right now below freezing in many, many spots. One of the spots being allentown, 31 degrees. 31 in wilmington. 30 in lancaster. 20s in mt. Pocono. 29 in pottstown. 29 degrees in Atlantic City. Those numbers telling the whole story. It is a cold one. Windchills are colder than that. It feels like 27 in philadelphia. It feels like 19 in mt. Pocono. Temperatures climbing slowly today. Some spots probably not getting out of the 40s. I think philadelphia will end up around 51. By 9 00, 43. That should be 11 00. One of the owners was taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation but she is stable and expected to be okay. As for traffic, 73 was empty except for a mass of fire trucks and hoses. Being shut down this long here, ive never seen it before. Not like this here. Back out here life i just spoke with the maple shade chief not long ago. He says the cause of this fire is still under gigs. Theres a lot of gasoline in this building. That was a concern. For now though the fire is mostly out. You see the ladder truck up there. Theyve got the hose on this fire putting out the hot spots. You see some of that smoke still rising from the debris out here at this property. For now though route 73 from main street up and through stiles avenue, it is still closed. It will be for a little while longer. The fire chief says it could be at least an hour, possibly more.
