Let me show you a look at some numbers across the region, 6 degrees right now in philadelphia, 3 degrees in wilmington, 4 degrees in dover , six below in millville. Down the shore, in the single digits, as well. Wildwood, right around 8 degrees, one in Atlantic City, a lot of these spots have made it into record territory. And then you factor in the winds on top of the cold air, this is what it feels like to exposed skin. We are talking windchill. Expressway. There was water at this water main break gushing along 17th street. And the bridge there, water was gushing near 17th and callowhill, as well. Thats in the city Spring Garden neighborhood. The water department, they rush crews to the scene to make repairs, but the water has now turned to ice. Philadelphia police are now detouring traffic on the vine street expressway to the broad street exit. We will update the Road Conditions later this morning. By air check ahead with the carrier for weather related travel delays and 3 miles in allentown and down to a mile in toms river and 1. 7 in wilmington. Temperatures though pretty warm, 62 right now in philadelphia. And we had a record high this morning in allentown 63. And the poconos had a record this morning of 58 and 66 in dover, and lancaster 62. As we go through the afternoon have the wet weather gear with you. We have the moisture some of which is heavy at time. Same thing if you step out on the town. 8 00 we have the moisture across much of the region and watch what happens overnight into the morning, 3 00 in the morning this showing you mixed precipitation for the poconos and northern Lehigh Valley and north berks county. That is an issue with a Winter Weather advisory. Just to the north and west at the onset depending how quickly it comes in. And some spots could wake up to a light glaze. Service has issued a Winter Weather advisory for lancaster, berks, lehigh, northampton counties in the poconos. It goes in effect until 1 oclock in the morning until 10 00. I think icing would likely occur around 4 oclock in the morning or so and then behind this system we do dry out tomorrow but find the layers. You will need them. Future tracker showing 8 30 tomorrow morning, were already dropping. The wind chills into the teens in philadelphia, the north and west suburbs into the single digits. If youre planning on skiing in the poconos, the wind chill down to 10 below, big weekend for skiing in the poconos.
