Good morning be jan, tragic day, with both of the lives lost, while authorities have not identified the civilian killed in the blaze, fire officials did announce devastating loss of 42 year old firefighter lieutenant matthew letourneau. Saluted fire provision leaving Temple University hospital yesterday morning, thats where lee turn had been rushed after being pushed under debris due to partial collapse in the row home. Now the fire broke out before 9 00 yesterday morning the 2200 block of north call rad owe street. He had been a dedicated firefighter since he was a teenager first in Spring Fields then later here in philadelphia. To say that matt died doing what he loved is hard but im also very proud of matt. He led people. He led a group of firefighters , trying to save someones life. A lot of people also remembering him as an animal lover. Now, Los Angeles Police are asking for the public help in that area to catch this suspect. A 26 year old man from missouri faces terrorism charges. He is accused of trying to derail an amtrak train in nebraska did a back in october the suspect allegedly has ties to White Supremacy groups. It was the middle of the night in no where nebraska, 200 miles from omaha, when 26 year old Taylor Wilson allegedly pulled the emergency brake on the california train traveling between sacramento and chicago, 175 passengers on board last october, when the train abruptly stopped. Amtrak employees restrained wilson for an hour, until the closest sheriff dispute coy arrive. Wilson had handgun, ammunition , mask, knife, scissors and tape measure. Fbi now believes he may have been planning a larger attack, and facing terror related charges for allegedly attempt to go rec, derail, disable the train. The row home fire he was battling also killed a resident. And now, investigators are looking for clues, as to how this fire started. In the meantime, learning more about this firefighter and just how dedicated he was. He was a 11 year veteran of the philadelphia fire department. But spent much longer than that protecting others. Just a teenager he started volunteering with the Springfield Fire Company in Delaware County now the Community Mourning his lost and loss of civilian killed in the blaze. Fellow First Responders, solemnly sole youth dollars as procession left Temple University hospital saturday, honoring one of their own, fallen firefighter lieutenant matt letourneau. We are without words. Just before 9 00 saturday morning, letourneau and dozen of other firefighters returned to two alarm row home blaze 2200 block of north colorado street. Fire commissioner adam says when part of the home collapsed debris pinned down the 42 year old. He was never alone. The rescue efforts started almost immediately. More than 100 of his fellow firefighters worked to get him out. And though they did Officials Say his head injuries were too severe to survive. Our hearts are breaking. Colleagues commends letourneau as dedicated firefighter, one who had spent more than 25 years volunteering with the Springfield Fire Company and later served 11 years with philadelphias engine 45. He was also an active instructor at the Delaware CountyEmergency Services training center. Was absolutely a leader, and just a super knowledgeable firefighter. He will be sadly, sadly missed they hail him as hero, tosca meant to the risk First Responders face in order to protect others. Firefighters rush to the 2200 block of 63rd street, saturday morning, they had this fire under control in just about an hour. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Upper darby police, continue to investigate a deadly crash. Investigators say, two cars collided at twp. Line road in lansdowne avenue just before 1 30 saturday morning.
