Dew points, really low, actually in the upper teens, so, we want to have to wait for that dry air to be erroded before we see some saturation happening in the air column, and some snow beginning to fall. Let me start you out with a look at storm scan3, youll notice that we are very dry across the greater philadelphia region, even into portions every south jersey, as well as delaware. Weve had some snow showers from time to time down the shore early this morning, expecting to see a lot more of that, though, as we head later throughout the day today. It is 36 degrees right now in philadelphia. We are in the mid 30s in wilmington, 34 in millville, 31 down the shore in wildwood. And right around 34 degrees in Atlantic City. Look at these dew points, though, there is a lot of dry air in place, dew point around 19 degrees, in philadelphia, 24 in wilmington, we are going to have to overcome that dry air before we really start to see a snow moving in and snow accumulations beginning across the region. They were here soon after he died. They say he lived a block away and they tell us he Howard Robert white. 46 years old and recently got back from a military tour in kuwait. The victim and a friend were at a bar near 5th and spencer streets when a man came in looking to rob the place. White and his friend got into some discussion with that attempted robber, then things turned violent outside the bar. They have witnesses who saw the attempted robber shoot and kill one of those men outside the bar, then fire shots at his friend, then run away. Now, that gun nman, police say, broke into a nearby home but when he got into the home the man who lives there put up a fight and was able to take his gun. Police now have the gunman in their custody but the family is grieving and in disbelief. He was like a father figure in my life. He was you know, it was unfortunate that this had to happen but he was a good dude. He aint mess with nobody. He loved his family, he served his country, peaceful guy.
