Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEM) launched its first pure EV, the Punch.ev, based on the advanced Pure EV architecture. With the addition of Punch.ev, Tata Motors expects its EV sales to exceed 1 lakh units. Tata Motors aims to create new segments and offer choices to customers with different body styles and price points, such as the Nexon EV, Tiago, and Punch EV. The company targets volumes beyond 1 lakh next year. The diverse profiles of EV customers include early adopters, pragmatic customers, homemakers, school students, doctors, and smart businessmen.
Punch EV: Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, recently launched its first pure EV - the Punch.ev., the first product based on its advanced Pure EV architecture – acti.ev. It is a pioneering addition to Tata.ev s portfolio, embodying the transformative shift in the needs and lifestyle of the contemporary customers. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited., said in an interview that with the addition of Punch.ev. to its portfolio, Tata Motors expects its EV sales to exceed 1 lakh units in FY25.
Tata Motors EV Channel: The company said it will start going for exclusive EV dealerships in the coming quarters, but it will start in phases. The first phase would be about experimenting and learning.
