Indus Towers Ltd fell 2.13% today to trade at Rs 248.35. The S&P BSE Telecom index is down 0.86% to quote at 1453.32. The index is up 6.22 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, OnMobile Global Ltd decreased 1.48% and Tata Communications Ltd lost 0.87% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 16.77 % over last one year compared to the 24.57% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Indus Towers Ltd has lost 5.41% over last one month compared to 6.22% gain in S&P BSE Telecom index and 4.21% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 75825 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2.28 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 274.95 on 07 Jan 2021. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 121.25 on 19 Mar 2020.

As many as 11 merchant bankers, including Goldman Sachs, JM Financial and Axis Capital, are in race for managing the sale of the government s 26.12 per cent stake in Tata Communications Ltd.
The government will sell its entire stake in Tata Communications Ltd (TCL), erstwhile VSNL, through an offer for sale and strategic sale route by March 20, 2021.
The merchant bankers would be making presentations before the officials of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management on February 9, according to a notice posted on the DIPAM website.
