Un-Wine d Happy Hour with Bluestone Vineyards and Ingleside Vineyards

Tassie Pippert tasting wine during season 3 of Un-Wine d.   With wines from more than 100 vineyards, the Virginia Governor’s Cup is one of the most rigorous wine competitions in the United States. Last year, Bluestone Vineyards, located in the Shenandoah Valley, and Ingleside Vineyards, located in the Northern Neck, won a total of 18 awards combined. But, what makes an award-winning wine? To find out, Tassie Pippert, host of “Un-Wine’d,” is hosting a happy hour with Lee Hartman from Bluestone Vineyards, along with Doug Flemer and Mark Misch of Ingleside Vineyards. 3 Wineries to Look Forward to in New Season of Un-Wine d

Cutting grapes for pinot noir at Ankida Ridge Vineyards. In season three of “Un-Wine’d,” join host Tassie Pippert as she delves into the taste and terroir of Virginia, discovers the ins and outs of winemaking, and learns the history of the Commonwealth’s designated American Viticultural Areas (AVAs). In each episode Tassie pairs a Virginia wine with a recipe you can try at home.  “Un-Wine’d” premieres Saturday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. on VPM PBS, with a two-part special airing Friday, January 8 at 9:00 p.m. Watch past seasons and current episodes on the PBS app or PBS website.
