Tomorrow is going to be nice, but at the beaches were going to see some more fog and some low clouds. In fact, were starting to see some of it now and well start off with live doppler seven. The satellite radar image. So over the last few days we had High Pressure keep all the clouds at bay. And that is starting to weaken. And thats why most temperatures, especially at the beaches and at the coast, will be a little bit cooler. You see some of those low clouds creeping in from that coast there into San Francisco, where its currently 55 degrees. Its still looking gorgeous outside tonight, though. Oakland and hayward at 56 degrees. Also san jose, san mateo, 54, and half moon bay, one of the cooler spots at 50 degrees. Ill show you another live shot. This is from sutro looking out towards downtown area santa rosa, 49 degrees. So in parts of the north bay, were already dropping into the 40s right now, like petaluma, 48 low 50s in napa, fairfield 53, concord 55, livermore 52 degrees. So how we are 24 hours ago to now, were generally cooler for the most part in many areas. And thats because the sea breeze will pick up, and thats what will make temperatures cool down a bit tomorrow too. And the winds arent that bad, though. Theyre calm maybe ten Miles Per Hour right now at bodega bay, and they definitely have lightened up in San Francisco. So as we look from the east bay, heres what you can expect for the headlines. Tomorrow morning. Well see some low clouds and some patchy fog spilling into the bay. But for Saint Patricks day, its going to be sunny and then we will see temperatures cooler at the coast especially, and then get ready for tuesday. Thats when spring starts. Its looking dry through midweek, and then were tracking a chance of rain that heads our way towards the end of the workweek. And ill show you some of the models that forecast the rain coming in for next weekend. So tomorrow morning, what youll notice is a bit different. We start to see more cloud cover all along the coast and spilling into the bay. And thats whats going to help cool things down. The winds are also going to be coming from the northwest, but by the afternoon plenty of sunshine, so temperatures will still be above average just not quite as warm. Lows tonight. Generally in the 40s to near 50 degrees. Well see 50 in oakland and well see some mid 40s in the north bay. And then for tomorrow with the sunshine, temperatures will generally be in the mid 60s to even some low 70s out there. Livermore 73 and also fremont 71 San Francisco coming down to 65. San jose 73 with plenty of sunshine. Really comfortable in the north bay. Some low 70s there too. So heres one of the forecast animation models that starts to show increasing cloud storage. The end of the week generally dry on friday with a chance increasing but looking wet on saturday and sunday. This is light rain though, so nothing too much to worry about on our storm impact scale. Its a level one, so heres the accuweather seven day forecast. Some fog, a little bit cooler for most everyone tomorrow. Some spots might be a touch warmer by a degree or two. The temperatures rebound on monday. Spring starts tuesday, then partly cloudy on wednesday. Notice we start to cool down, bringing us a chance of rain on friday and definitely expecting some more light rain saturday and sunday. But its going to be light, so enjoy this dry weather oh my gosh, i was so relieved to have all that sunshine and warmth. It was a wonderful today. I saw a lot of people at the ferry building, at the Farmers Market and just enjoying taking it in, and people were happy. They had smiles on their faces. Oh my gosh, so nice. A nice break from all that rain weve had. Yeah, its funny how it timed out. Spring showed up at exactly Perfect Timing with the weather, right . Yes, exactly. Abc seven News Reporter stephanie sierra introduces us to beckett and his journey to becoming okitsu strong. Going through Cancer Treatment is really isolating, really emotional and really hard. Meet erica and blake poznansky, the proud parents of three boys, dylan, tanner and beckett. When beckett was four years old, he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia that affects the blood and bone marrow. He actually started with what we thought was a stye in his eyes. He had a swollen eye. Acute lymphocytic leukemia or al, doesnt normally appear that way. We for a couple of weeks thought he actually just had something in in his eye. Not really thinking much of it. It wasnt until a checkup appointment the head of the e. R. Came in and 80 of his bone marrow was cancerous, a diagnosis that changed their world. Its very overwhelming. I remember when i would be going into clinic with beckett, and i would just be so desperate for connection. Thats until the bosnian guys found okayasu, a kaiser provider is a safe, loving place to just be where youre not isolated and youre not alone anymore. For 43 years, camp okitsu has offered support programs to families who have a child facing cancer. Thousands of patients, just like beckett, come to camp to feel united with survivors like them. It was like the world just opened. It was like, this is what normalcy is like. So he was around other kids. Other kids didnt have. They had lost their hair. Other kids had had, you know, medicine that they ended up having to take. It was incredible to be able to see. Okitsu offers a variety of camps, including sibling camp, oncology camp and family camp, where parents bond and learn from each other through group sessions. The one thing that came across from every single parent was, i wish i would have asked for bloodwork sooner because if i would have asked for bloodwork sooner in all of this, we would have been able to get to a diagnosis sooner, and our child wouldnt have been so sick. In 2020, camp okutsu facility in berry creek suffered significant damage during the north complex fires. The fire burned most of the 500 acre property, and the camp has been searching for a permanent home ever since. Something with so many precious memories, its just been so scarred. Despite the loss, the place might be gone right now, but the people definitely arent. Oh, kaisers magic lives on each and every year. It gives them a space to just be themselves, where it really becomes your community. But at this point this rain is looking light, so not too much to worry about. So overall, a great day for Saint Patricks day. Just a little bit more fog and cooler conditions. Slightly cooler. Were only talking a degree or two. Cooler temperatures rebound monday before the start of spring on tuesday and looks good for the oakland marathon. So yeah. Oh yeah, that too tomorrow as well. All right. Thanks, francis. And now lets chat with larry with a preview of sports larry karina. With only 16 games left in the regular season, the warriors need every single win they can get. Steph currys return certainly helped a lot tonight then we are looking for you. We are the peace corps. With volunteers in more than 60 countries. Living together. Working together. Transforming lives. Together. Join us. 36 years old on thursday, didnt quite match his age tonight in l. A, but pretty close. He had 31 and the return of Draymond Green very big as well for golden state warriors, lakers battling for playoff position in the west. And with Anthony Davis out with an eye injury that he suffered in the First Quarter of the warriors taking advantage, going to the basket like a freeway to the hoop. No shot blocker in the lane. Up, up and away. Draymond green back after missing one game with a back injury, 13 assists lobbing and lobbing and lobbing and lobbing over the lakers defense. Jonathan kuminga with 23 points and Andrew Wiggins had 16. The warriors hold on for a 128, 121 win, edging up into ninth place in the west. You guys have been through the war so many times, but to have guys like kuminga pods come along, whats impressed you about how these guys have played in those moments . Man, they just continue to rise to the occasion. You know, we started off the year and youre trying to you know, youre trying to pull them along. Now there are some games where theyre pulling us along and thats what you want to see from your young guys. You want to see those them taking the necessary steps for them to become stars in this league themselves. And those guys are doing that. Yeah, theyve been great. You know jc continues to get better, you know trace, you know hes just gives us a completely different look with, with the lob threat, with the shot blocking and bp has had a great year. You know, he just came into this league prepared and ready. So its fun to watch them play and fun to watch our our older guys continue to play at a high level too. Well another steph versus lebron matchup. And the warriors come away with a victory. Steph after missing three games with the ankle injury, looked pretty good with a 31 points. Larry i loved steph patient tonight and how he approached the game really allows klay to assert himself and then really took his time to walk himself into the game. I think a lot of players out there, you can learn a lot from how steph approached his game, and he was amazing, you know, by the by the second half of this game and coach he was scoreless in the First Quarter then had 13 in the second, 13 in the third. And you could feel that he was starting to get into a rhythm. Short and rotation from steve kerr tonight. No minutes for moses. Moody little minutes for gp. Two more minutes for klay thompson. I thought when klay and steph got those minutes together the middle of the game certainly helped a little splash brother. Throwback if you will. And klay off the bench and have him step out there catching fire after a slow start. Always good when those guys are going. Nice to see klay have a great game off the bench. And of course any time steph puts up 2030 you know youre going to be good to go. If youre the warriors. Yeah. And klay had 26 points as he continues to adapt to that sixth man role. The headline obviously steph curry is back. Warriors win. Draymond green also returned. Now he only missed one game because of a back injury. But everything is different when hes on the Court Balancing out the floor throwing the lobs. And i think that this game was particularly unique in the way that he went back to the old draymond that we used to, really looking for kuminga and really understanding that if this team wants to get to the next level, how much they need kuminga and you seem looking for him, but also just moving the ball and creating opportunities for his teammate. He was brilliant tonight, 31 assists to go along with 12 rebounds and six points. Coach 16 games left in the regular season for the warriors. Technically there are ninth place now. How high can they go . Can i need a little help from the mavericks to slide back . Obviously they can have a little bit of an impact in the two head to head matchups left with the mavericks, the mavericks and slide back in. The warriors can stay hot. Uh be building off tonight. We might see him sneak into that eighth spot and you never know. You get to eight. You can get close to seven, but you definitely want to try to avoid that 910 at all costs. Although it does look like were on a collision course to stay in this 910 spot. And see the lakers again come april. We dont want that. I dont want to see lebron in april.
