The mosaic plant is in a really bad spot. It sits right in the middle of a massive gypsum stack. Thats the stuff that comes out of the plant after the company produces phosphate fertilizers and animal feed ingredients. Workers monitoring water levels discovered a drop. When it was first noticed, we installed pumping systems to move water out of that compartment on the gypsum stack to recover the water. Reporter the water is contaminanted with phosphoric acid, but so far its not believed to be making it to wells. They are monitoring wells and further out there are more. Were confident the wells we started up are capturing that water pulling it back. Reporter the closest homeowners who are all several water without worry, but if they have concerns mosaic will test it. So far the Company Maintains all is okay. We monitor the stack 24 hours a day seven days a week to insure that theres no safety or Environmental Concerns on top of the gypsum stack itself as well as around the rest of the p

You can put on the orange today like i did but still a summer day. The average high today is 88. Even the average high on october 1st is 87. It takes us til about november 1st before the average high is 81. And then break out the scarves for average high of 75. Eventually it does cool down, just wont be that way today. Drier air is coming in. This is the a look at the amount of water in the atmosphere. Not necessarily the humidity value because thats still high. On average we get our first temperature to drop below 60 which we know is boots and sweater weather around october as late as november 15th before we drop below 60 degrees. So enjoy more summer weather, right . Its not quite as humid today. And look over the past few hours. You see the red color . Ive been tracking it. And thats drier air in the upperlevels of the atmosphere. So while it may still feel humid at the surface, its going to limit our rain chances. Only 20 this afternoon.
