Taiwan Star Telecom subscribers should receive at least a 5 percent discount on their next phone bill if they experienced a service drop on Tuesday, National Communications Commission (NCC) Chairman Chen Yaw-shyang (陳耀祥) said yesterday. The National Communications Commission (NCC) yesterday said that it would use criteria listed in Article 26 of the Telecommunications Management Act (電信管理法) to review a proposed merger between Taiwan Mobile Co and Taiwan Star Telecom Corp.
