In a statement, he said seven of them were workplace clusters, while the remaining one was a community cluster, FMT reported. ADVERTISEMENT Three of the clusters were detected in Johor, two in Penang and one each in Selangor, Perak and Sabah. The cluster that reported the most infections today was the Industri Sungai Gadut cluster in Negeri Sembilan with 1,338 new cases involving local and foreign factory workers.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 The number of new Covid-19 cases recorded today spiked to 3,545, increasing by more than half of yesterday’s cases, with over 1,000 new cases detected in Negri Sembilan. Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement today also revealed 12 new fatalities, bringing the death toll from the disease to 1,088. Meanwhile, 3,331 people were reported to have recovered from the disease, leaving active cases at 30,677.
