A MAN has been thanked for his heroic actions after jumping into action to play a vital role in saving lorry drivers life in M6 crash. The crash, which happened on Saturday (January 23), saw a car and tanker lorry collide near junction 27. Antony Scott swerved to avoid the crash and his first thought was to check on the driver of the car and the lorry. But after getting no response from the lorry driver, the 31-year-old pulled away the glass of the cab and did his best to keep the injured driver talking and awake. “It’s all a bit of a blur,” Mr Scott said. “I didn’t really know what I was doing, I just thought I needed to keep him talking and not let him fall asleep.”
