Tens of thousands of armenians have sought refuge in the main city stepanakert, where food and medicine are running low, and power cuts are frequent. Families remain stranded in the local airport, where russian peacekeepers are based. They are sleeping on the ground, cooking food on fire and not having an access to clean water.
