We have some mainly light rain in the area right now but these heavier showers will swing through, already starting to come down in parts of the Lehigh Valley and the western suburbs. Thats a possibility this morning. Well see more heavy downpours. Most of it light but that potential for heavy downpours will continue the flash flood threat for our area. What wont continue today, no sign of the 90s. We did have lane restrictions with security checkpoints in place so there were a lot of backups eneven earlier than wed see backups on 95. Both directions, northbound, southbound, no problems. All lanes back open. Also watching an accident in limerick on main street and railroad street. Another accident out west on 422 westbound around hill road. We saw heavy downpours overnight and yesterday afternoon. Steady rain in philadelphia, heavier rainfall now moving into delaware. That is a visibility thats coming down, thanks to the heavy rain at frawley stadium and to the south, its even heavier. Its this line weve been watching, weve been watching it since we went on the air at 4 00 this morning. Thats heavy rainfall. Moving into middletown, delaware, just as expected. The rain is falling at a rate of more than an inch and a third an hour. Rainsoaked ground, more heavy rainfall this morning and the threat will be with us first thing this morning in delaware and then those storms likely to be on the move into south jersey.
