thunderstorm warnings lift. moving toward easton. and i m sorry, toward frederick. and down toward easton. still have a cell in place. that is bringing heavy storms and rain down there. this has the potential for hail. but again, the warnings have now been lifted. our severe weather potential is still in place for the afternoon and evening. so as a result, we still have a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for the entire state until tonight. until just around 10:00 or so. then we have exactly what you re seeing there is excessive heat warning in effect for much of the area, just north of the beltway, up and down the 95 corridor again. we ll be talking about that through the afternoon. for a little more on how it all played out, we re going to send it to meteorologist bernadette woods. that s right, tim. well, as far as numbers go, we ve gotten up there once again this afternoon. we re waiting for the forecast to come in. but as of 3:00, 97 degrees. and that ties the record
