More than 50 people from Am Echod and Am Shalom congregation in Glencoe freshened the cemetery Sunday, and performing a Jewish rite burying books and other holy objects containing God’s name which must be buried, not destroyed.
Between 1,200 and 1,500 juniors and seniors attended the tech/trade fair Thursday at Waukegan High School’s Washington campus, learning about different careers available after high school from 60 exhibitors.
An annual event organized by Waukegan Township, the tour is designed to give high school students a look at college possibilities they may not have considered.

Both Save Our Wards and Waukegan Forward are making final pushes to sway voters before the polls close for the general election at 7 p.m. on April 4 in Lake County, placing signs around the city and talking to voters.
