The interesting contrast today was the speed with which this jury reached that guilty verdict and the months of time that this case spent in courtrooms and the five long years since sierra lamar disappeared on her way to that bus stop back in 2012. When i talked with Marlene Lamar about half an hour ago as she was leaving the courthouse to go home, i heard in her voice the same emotion that i heard five years ago had she was talking about her daughter having disappeared. Reporter according to Vineland Police, 34yearold nady was scene friday november 27th in vineland. Family members found her 2005 chevy trailblazer northbound on 55 saturday morning. New Jersey State Police recovered the car. No signs of postpartum depression or anything like that much this is very out of the ordinary for her. Reporter lieutenant matt finley with Vineland Police tells Eyewitness News his detectives didnt find out about nady and her daughter until monday two days after family and friends found her car.
