The creator economy is projected to double from $250bn to $480bn by 2027, and the social media content creator base in India is on track to exceed 100 million this year, outpacing other countries, according to Goldman Sachs and influencer marketing firm Zefmo. Despite the opportunities that social media platforms provide, monetisation remains a challenge for creators, including accessing a diverse range of brands and negotiating fair compensation.
