This morning as the f. B. I. Raided several bay area locations. Matt is following the developments. This is a multiyear investigation and the big fish caught in the f. B. I. Net is state senator leland yee arrested at a San Francisco home as part of the massive raid across the bay area and sacramento. News cameras captured have it i. E. D. Of the senator being brought handcuffed in the back of the car. He was are ad on public corruption charms and is being held until the first appearance in federal court. The f. B. I. Raids two buildings associated with him including his home on 24th avenue and San Francisco and the office at state capital in sacramento. C. H. P. Officers were guarding the doors to the office as f. B. I. Agents were inside. Investigators did not get and the specifics of the case. Right now the f. B. I. Two county council seats are up for grabs this fall; District 1, held by Democrat Erik Wagner, and District 3, held by Democrat Greg Simms. Democrat Becky Mateja Lombardini beat Wagner in the primary and faces off against Republican Ronald “Red” Stone for the District 1 seat, while incumbent Simms is up against Republican Holly Lafferty Howe for retention of his seat.
