(CHICAGO) The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 401 new confirmed COVID-19 cases from Tuesday, with only 8 additional deaths reported yesterday. That bring the state’s new death toll due to the coronavirus up to 22,835. In the latest vaccination report for Illinois, more than 67 percent of all Illinois adults have received at least one vaccine dose. Nearly 51 percent are now fully vaccinated.
