Khade said that for the assembly polls in Assam already 40 companies of Central paramilitary forces (CAPF) are there. The total number of voters in Assam stands at 23186362. The number of polling station is around 33,530. Altogether 768 Locations will accommodate CAPF have been identified by the district SSP in association with Civil Administration / CAPF representative.
He added that as the elections are held under COVID-19 protocols. “COVID materials are in stock. Most of the districts have received and few stocks of COVID materials are in transit.”

New Delhi [India], February 3 (ANI): The Ministry of Education has allowed the restart of physical classes for Class 10 and Class 12 students in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) in those states that have allowed government and private schools to reopen schools for Classes 10 and 12.
The JNVs were closed after the outburst of the COVID-19 pandemic in March-2020 after completing the term-end examinations.
The Ministry in a statement said that it has prepared Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) for re-opening of JNVs based on guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Travel agents' body TAAI on Saturday urged the government to come out with guidelines for travellers, both domestic and international, who have been vaccinated against COVID-19, and asked to do away with quarantine requirement for such travellers.
