Some of the wealthiest people competing for a seat in the Lok Sabha from Assam will participate in the final phase of the election with perfume magnate Badruddin Ajmal leading the list of wealthy candidates. This phase also has the highest percentage of candidates with criminal cases and the highest number of women candidates compared to the previous phases. Analysis shows an average asset value of Rs 6.61 crore per candidate in Phase III.
