Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre has obtained the exclusive right and licence to operate and maintain the existing 32-bed hospital of the New Mangalore Port for two years. Additionally, it has been granted the rights to construct, operate, and maintain a 150-bed multi-specialty hospital on three acres for 60 years. The hospital will provide healthcare services to port employees, CISF and retired personnel, their dependents, and nearby residents. It will feature three modular operation theatres and a cath lab, offering various multi-specialty services such as nephrology, neurology, cardiology, neonatology, among others. The hospital will also have pathology, pharmacy, and ambulance services under a single roof for the public and port beneficiaries.
