happy arbor day, everyone. we have a lot of volunteers from the richmond district center. i grew up in the california area, ended up at uc-davis. i made my way out to san francisco in 1984 when i was a college student. i remember growing up on clement street. i have always lived around in richmond area, just being around a unique area of the richmond, discovering san francisco in the 1980 s. i am hoping we can not support small businesses like this because they are the unique character that makes neighborhoods like this so rich and lively to live in. i have also been active as a community organizer. i worked at the chinese progressive association. i also worked at the mental health center in the richmond district. i have always been passionate about civil rights, equality for everyone. i have a 10-year-old daughter, so having a girl has made me much more sensitive to gender equality issues. i guess i have always been vocal about my politics, but as a supervis

community organization and service, thank you. @x on december 28, 1912. san francisco mayor, sonny jim rolph stared into the crowds of those who have gathered. a m linda. good evening, i am linda lighthouser, i will like to thank mayor lee and supervisor avalos for the wonderful opportunity to apply for the community action grants. and one group i belong to is a recipient of that grantee. and tonight i am here to talk about another community project. it regards greater activation of mcclair park, the city s second largest park, and encompasses district 9, 10 and 11. but usually on the low end of funding with the city. i have been working with the rec and park division and many divisions within rec and park, to bring more activities to mcclarin park, and one is to activate the community theater and work with the police patrol and citizens to create supervision and added security for the park to add events for the public at low fees. we are excited about this project, but

is the site for the 2012 parks bond investment. and the northeast plaza you ve haired about and the 27 and 29 pier and pier 70 port. this graphic really shows that the next time of the open space are continuance along the waterfront. we re very grateful to the voters. so the purpose of this item today is to get your first look at this allocation of the proposal. specifically we re looking for a 29 tip. and $600,000 to the creek improvements for a total of 18.2 million. and this is over the two years. the slate of bond projects that we will accomplish through this go bond is approximately over 5 years beginning earlier this year and concluding with the last park close out at 2017. there s quite a bit of information in the park project. the total cost is 17 million and 14 million arrested spent for the planning. the design is scheduled for completion in 2014. for the park in this pier could include the machine shop court yard. we re looking for the piers that benefit the commun
