Our Correspondent Diphu, July 12 (EMN): In what could be called a major development in the political scenario of Karbi Anglong, 144 party workers and supporters from Congress and independent supporters from Howraghat and Socheng Dhenta MAC constituencies on Tuesday joined BJP during a mass joining program held at BJP-East Karbi Anglong District Committee office at ARTC 1st Gate-Diphu Manja Road. Congress leaders and workers of Howraghat Block Congress Committee, 25 strong supporters of United Democratic Front of Surupathar and APHLC workers from Lumbajong joined the BJP party. Our Correspondent Diphu, July 7 (EMN): The BJP-East Karbi Anglong District Committee (BJP-EKADC) on Wednesday organised a victory rally at Diphu government Boys HS School playground, to express gratitude to the people of Karbi Anglong for putting their faith in the BJP and allowing the party to win in all the 26 Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) seats of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
