Our Correspondent Diphu, July 7 (EMN): The BJP-East Karbi Anglong District Committee (BJP-EKADC) on Wednesday organised a victory rally at Diphu government Boys HS School playground, to express gratitude to the people of Karbi Anglong for putting their faith in the BJP and allowing the party to win in all the 26 Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) seats of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC). The election was held on June 8 in both 6th Schedule districts of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong. The rally witnessed the joining of several party workers and supporters from other parties and candidates, who lost in the concluded KAAC elections. Our Correspondent Diphu, May 23 (EMN): Rangsina Hanse, an independent candidate, who filed his nomination from Lumbajong Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) constituency as he was denied a party ticket from the Congress said that voters should not see the party line but the candidate. No party is bad, the bad ones are the leaders.
