Reporter neighbors tell abc 7 news the man was a regular in the neighborhood often sleeping wherever he could, sometimes being combative with those who try to get him to move along. He didnt just leave the scene, but he left an injured person inside that car. Now, the couple who lives inside this home on east line street in penns grove were told is okay. Theyre in their 70s. And they were in a different part of the house when this happened according to their son. Police say that they tried to stop the dark colored sedan earlier in the night, but the driver kept going, so a chase ensued and it only came to an end after the car crashed into the sides of this house. About 20 patrol cars on clar east drive in east san jose. Officers with long guns are look for the suspect and have established a perimeter and theyre looking for the gunman who has been spotted behind several homes. Around 9 00 this morning there was a report of a commercial burglary on tully road. When officers responded, they found a suspect, and he took off. He went into two separate homes here in clarice drive. We have reports from some that he had a gun and a knife. There are also reports he held a pregnant woman at gunpoint inside her home. He has left the home and the pregnant woman is safe. Police are still searching for the man in the neighborhood. There is a school in the area. Katherine r.
