Prakash More, aged 26, was wanted in a murder case of 19 year-old Sujata Balkhande, whom he wanted to marry and her mother Surekha Balkhande (37).

Shree Jogdhankar, the main accused in the Jhanvi Kukreja murder case on Tuesday moved a Mumbai court for bail to appear in his college exams.
In his bail plea, Shree Jogdhankar has said that he needs the bail to appear in the final semester exams of his bachelor’s course and he has already paid fees for the exams, scheduled in March 2021.

MUMBAI: Shree Jogdhankar, arrested for the alleged murder of his friend 19-year-old psychology student, Jhanvi Kukreja, on January 1, has applied for bail before a sessions court on Monday.
Kukreja was found dead near the staircase at Bhagwati Heights in Khar (West) and in the same building, she along with Jogdhankar and the other accused Diya Padalkar (19) attended the New Year party on December 31 night.
Kukreja was found dead by a building resident at around 2.30 am on January 1 who then informed the building owner’s son Yash Ahuja who has organized the party. Kukreja was found dead with multiple head injuries and even blood stains were found on the staircase railing on the second floor where her head was banged that led to her death. Police reached the spot at around 3 am and her parents learnt about her death at around 5 am.
“The intervenor is the devastated mother of the victim and an directly affected and interested party and her appearance is germane to the just decision of the case. It is therefore submitted that this honourable court may be pleased to pass an order allowing the intervenor to be made a party in the bail application and thus be allowed to plead her case and assist the prosecution to secure the ends of justice,” the plea said.
Padalkar has submitted the bail plea on February 2.
Her plea said that there is not even a single evidence which can even minutely prove her involvement or participation in the alleged offence.
Jhanvi Kukreja murder: Accused sent to judicial custody, cops tell court they have criminal antecedents
The accused have already spent 13 days in police custody and were remanded to judicial custody on Thursday. One of them has been sent to Taloja jail while the other to the women s jail in Byculla.

Shree Jogdhankar and Diya Padalkar, who are accused in the Jhanvi Kukreja murder case, were sent to judicial custody by a local court in Mumbai on Thursday.
The police told the court that Shree has criminal antecedents, is short-tempered and may take dangerous steps .
Shree and Diya are accused of having killed their friend, Jhanvi Kukreja, at a New Year s party at Bhagwanti Heights building in Mumbai s Khar West area.
