What does the weather look like out there tonight . Steve, the rain continues to fall here in san jose. We did get a short break late this afternoon but it has again started to rain. Behind me you can see that bright light. They are using a pump to try and clear out some of this water at south bay Mobile Home Park. They actually had two pumps they were using but one of those has been taken away. This is what this Mobile Home Park looked like this afternoon. You can see that in some locations the roads were underwater. The Fire Department was keeping a close eye on this. Mandatory evacuations were not given but still some people did evacuate. Toss to weather and traffic. The cold frontal rain band is now moving southeastward through monterey county, with locally gusty winds and scattered showers left in its wake. Flooding remains a concern as water continues to flow down the slopes from the recent heavy rains, but will diminish later tonight and tuesday aside from some of the slower to respond mainstem rivers. Showers and winds will gradually taper off over the next 24 hours, with mainly dry though cooler conditions expected for wednesday through friday.
