Crews have been cleaning up the power lines. Reporter good morning. We found the power lines that fell this morning, causing the major traffic backup. You see the power lines on the ground. They were stuck in the tree. There was a bunch of workers below the transformer that were involved in the incident. Around 5 30 a. M. A crane that was involved in this Bart Lafayette track rebuilding work took down the power lines. They ended up falling along westbound lanes of highway 24. All lanes closed for nearly an hour. The lanes finally reopened and the traffic is moving again. But there is a lot of work to be done. 115 people in the area are without power this morning because of this.
