No word on which building is burning here, but we know this is an Industrial Area about a block or so away from the South San Francisco fire station. This fire was reported just before 3 00 this afternoon. As of 3 30 or so, it did look as the crews on the scene were getting a pretty good handle on this fire. Earlier in the day for sure. In the south bay, safety concerns over Outdoor Dining as restaurants have tried to move their operations outside because of the pandemic. San jose police now investigating a pair of unrelated crashes, one involving a man who drove right into a crowd of diners. Abc 7 News Reporter chris nguyen has the story. Reporter this video shows the aftermath of what San Jose Police are calling a tragic accident in which a 69yearold man plowed into diners gathered for dim sum on saturday afternoon. Right now all eindications talking to witnesses is he thought he was using his brake but accelerated. Reporter the driver crashed into this Outdoor Dining space operated by the dynasty seafood chinese restaurant. Eight people taken to the hospital. Two remain in critical condition.
