Ten debutantes dressed in traditional gowns and carrying bouquets of red roses were presented to society on November 27, 2021, at Texarkana Country Club. John Crisp, master of ceremonies, introduced each young lady as she stepped from the dais. Vicki Carr and Andrea Finley played the chosen debut song for each debutante as she and her escort circled the room. This season was coordinated by Miss Blaire Barlow. Lawrence University’s sororities and fraternities are joining together to host a Greek philanthropy weekend May 21-23, with an additional kick-off event on May 15. The weekend, organized by the Lawrence University Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council (IFC), the governing bodies of campus sororities and fraternities respectively, will include events that raise money for each Greek Life’s organization and the Lawrence Student Food Pantry.
“Everyone involved thinks that it is particularly important to be supporting our philanthropies as best as we can, especially during the pandemic,” junior Erin Jackson, the president of Delta Gamma, said. “All of our organizations have taken a hit this past year, and being able to give back is really important to [Panhel] and IFC.”

Kelly Krincek, a graduating senior majoring in entertainment and media studies from New Jersey, was recently named Student Employee of the Year. Krincek is the student media coordinator at the Office of the Dean of Students. She was recognized for her web and video production skills as well as her “infectious energy, enthusiasm, initiative and joyful spirit.”
