Photo: Unsplash An Essex Police volunteer has been kicked off the force after they used the national computer database for personal reasons and then lying about it. Special Sergeant Jaime Parker was found to have committed misconduct after breaching confidentiality rules and misusing police information. It was alleged that, while on duty, Parker used the Police National Computer to carry out a checks on vehicles without a valid reason in April 2019 and again in June 2019. In February 2020 it was further alleged she gave an account of the event in April 2019 which she knew to be untruthful.
