Volleyball Opens ACC Play with Notre Dame and No 2 Louisville

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State volleyball team begins ACC play this week with matches against Notre Dame and No. 2 Louisville at Tully Gym. Friday's match with the Fighting Irish will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be streamed on ACCNX. Sunday's match with the second-ranked Cardinals can be seen nationally on ESPN with first serve at 3 p.m. Admission to all home games is free and doors will open one hour before the match. During Friday's match, there will be a prize giveaway for Family Weekend. Spotlight Noles The Seminoles will be a part of history on Sunday afternoon, as their matchup with No. 2 Louisville will be the second regular season women’s college volleyball game to every appear on ESPN. Volleyball Gears Up for Showdown with the Gators

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State volleyball team (7-2) will be looking for back-to-back victories over the No. 15 Florida Gators Tuesday night at Exatech Arena in Gainesville, Fla. First serve is set for 6 p.m. on ESPNU with Sam Gore (Play-by-Play) and Missy Whittemore (Color) on the call. Nole Notes • Head Coach Chris Poole is in his 15th season as the leader of the Seminoles. • The Noles were picked to finish fifth in the ACC by the coaches. • The Noles got off to its best start through eight games since 2014 with a 7-1 start. • The Noles will look to beat the Gators in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2013 and 2014 seasons. • Poole will be looking for his 32nd win over an AVCA Top 25 team against the Gators. • The Noles split two matches at the Omaha Invite with a sweep over Nebraska-Omaha and a five-set loss to Creighton. • This is the first time the Noles have played back-to-back ranked nonconference opponents since 2019 . • Audrey Koenig cur

Noles Head to Omaha to Face Nebraska-Omaha and No 17 Creighton

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State volleyball team (6-1) will hit the road for the second time this season for the Omaha Invite in Omaha, Neb., where they will face Nebraska-Omaha (4-1) on Thursday and Nol. 17 Creighton (5-1) on Friday. Thursday's match will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Friday's match against Creighton beginning at 6 p.m. Both matches will be streamed live omavs.com. This will be the first time in program history that Seminoles have faced either of these teams. The Noles are off to its best start since 2017 and will look to add to a four-game winning streak. At their home tournament, the Noles impressed with a 4-0 record while dropping just one set. The Noles offense has been impressive so far this season. As a team, the Noles are hitting .318 which leads the ACC and is eighth in the country. Leading that attack is sophomore Audrey Koenig who has a team-high 71 kills this season. Khori Louis is also off to a great start with 62 kills and a .463 hitting percentage

Noles Hot Start Continues With Victory Over Austin Peay

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – In the first-ever matchup between these two teams, the Florida State Seminoles (6-1) defeated the Austin Peay Governors (2-3) in four sets (25-12, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18) on Saturday evening at Tully Gym. The Noles’ 6-1 record to begin the year is their best since 2017 and their fourth straight win at home. Audrey Koenig, Khori Louis and Emily Ryan were each named to the Seminole Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Team. The Noles took zero time to get things going as they started the first set with five straight points, forcing the Governors to take an early timeout. Florida State wouldn’t look back, leading by as many as thirteen points and taking the set 25-12. The depth of the Seminoles was on display as eight different players recorded kills en route to a monstrous .520 hitting percentage. The Noles’ defense was equally stellar, holding the Governors to a minuscule -.115 hitting percentage. The second set was a different story as Austin Peay jumped out
